Terms of Service

Welcome to Snaag! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Snaag mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Snaag LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Snaag is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace that connects individuals who wish to rent items ("Snaagers" or "Borrowers") with individuals who wish to lend their items for a fee ("Lenders"). Snaag acts solely as a broker and platform facilitator.

Snaag does not own, possess, or control any items listed on the platform. We are not a party to any rental transaction between users. We simply provide the technology platform that enables these transactions.

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept all responsibility for activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

For Lenders:

• You must have legal ownership or authorization to rent any item you list
• Listings must accurately describe the item's condition and any defects
• You are responsible for setting fair and accurate rental prices
• You must make items available as described in your listing

For Borrowers (Snaagers):

• You agree to use rented items responsibly and return them in the same condition
• You agree to return items on time as specified in the rental agreement
• You are responsible for the item during the rental period

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

• Borrowers will be charged the rental fee plus any applicable service fees at the time of booking
• Lenders will receive payment after the rental is completed, minus the platform service fee
• All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)

Cancellation policies are set by individual Lenders and may vary. The available policies are:

• Flexible: Full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the rental start time
• Moderate: Full refund if cancelled at least 3 days before the rental start time
• Strict: 50% refund if cancelled at least 7 days before the rental start time

SNAAG LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, THEFT, OR INJURY ARISING FROM THE USE OF ITEMS RENTED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.

Snaag acts solely as a broker connecting Lenders and Borrowers. We do not inspect, verify, or guarantee the condition, safety, legality, or suitability of any item listed on the platform. All rental transactions are between the Lender and the Borrower.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snaag LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

To maintain a safe and respectful community, you agree not to:

• List illegal items or items you do not have the right to rent
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Provide false or misleading information in listings or profiles
• Attempt to circumvent the platform's payment system
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Create fake reviews or manipulate ratings

Violation of these guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
