Snaag LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Snaag mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service.

- Profile Information: Profile photo, neighborhood/location
- Payment Information: Payment card details are collected and processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card numbers on our servers.
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device's approximate location to show you nearby rental listings. You can disable location access in your device settings.
Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:
- Device type and operating system
- App usage patterns and interaction data
- Search queries and browsing history within the app
- Messages sent through the in-app chat feature
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process rental transactions and payments
- Connect Borrowers with nearby Lenders based on location
- Send you transaction confirmations, reminders, and booking updates
- Facilitate communication between users via in-app messaging
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities
- Send you promotional communications (you can opt out at any time)
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Other Users: When you create a listing or book an item, certain profile information (name, profile photo, neighborhood, ratings) is shared with other users to facilitate the transaction.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services including Stripe (payments) and Resend (email communications) that may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request.
- Safety: We may share information when we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of our users, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS
- Secure password hashing (bcrypt)
- PCI DSS compliant payment processing through Stripe
- Regular security reviews of our systems
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
